BioI find myself growing up more and more in the sense of letting go of my childish obsession with things that are tragically beautiful. Disasters used to be my rolemodels--the lonely the ones I loved the most. I used to be fascinated and infatuated with the glory of existing as the living dead and chose to be my favorite enemy. Hurt yourself before anyone else can do it to you--die before you rely on God's unpredictable timing.
I may not be exactly the person that I want to, but I no longer find beauty in my faults, nor do I want others to find beauty within them. Rather than wasting my life waiting for the sympathy of others, I've come to the realization that sympathy leads to empathy, and making my loved ones carry my burden is not the reason I was put on this earth to live.
